Smart Trunk was a two-week-project at Interactive Architecture Lab Arduino Workshop in Christmas 2014. The idea of the design was to create a smart hanger that was able to organise clothes inside a drawer. Smart trunk was completed by proximity sensors that could sense people’s presence so it would open up itself and approach the user. Then, it would take the clothes from the user and place them according to the user’s programme. This was the first prototype of Smart Trunk where it could possibly be enhanced in the future.
